The research for sustainable, commercial yarns is the focus of your work whilst keeping an eye on cost.
You work closely with the production team, especially when it comes to fit and quality.
You ensure that the most important milestones for on-time delivery are met - you proactively work out solutions to assess any risks in terms of scheduling.
To build a sustainable and international supplier portfolio, you acquire suppliers that are a good fit with our offering.
When sourcing and developing yarns, you always keep our sustainability goals in mind and include them in your decisions.
The planning and placement of yarn blocks are in your capable hands, with our Supply Chain teams.
You conduct price negotiations with our suppliers with confidence.
In your planning, you adhere to our development calendar - from prototype to SMS.
You enter relevant information into our ERP system.
You will not only implement the procurement strategy. You will also help shape it.
Our design teams, product management and production work closely with you and coordinate with you.
You are not only at your desk: yarn fairs and trips to our production countries are part of your daily work.
You also get involved in our concept and prototype meetings as well as in sustainability projects.
You are bursting with commitment and are also technically at home in the knitwear sector - nothing works for you without fibres and yarns.
The topics of sustainability and the procurement of innovative yarns are close to your heart.
Your strong communication skills and great negotiation skills ensure that business requirements are met at all times.
With several years of work experience and solid production and technical knowledge, you are the right person for this job.
You have working relationships with yarn mills and are familiar with them - so you enrich the team with your input.
You look for problems only to fix them - you see them as a positive challenge.
Colleagues appreciate you for your friendly and positive manner.
You are decisive and take responsibility for shaping internal processes.
You are proficient in Excel, our product development management system, INTEX, SAP, Good Cashmere Portal (not a must) and OSCA.
With your work, you want to contribute to reorienting the apparel industry for the future and focus on sustainable issues.
You speak fluent German and have a good command of English.
