Merchandise Planner (m/f/d)
Lead the forecasting process of Les Lunes category, style, size, and colour level sales quantities together with our Sales & Marketing team Act as an sparring partner for input providing departments and challenge their planning parameters Develop a strategy for your categories, brands and price clusters for a commercially well balanced portfolio A good understanding of the business and commercial environment, taking e.g. customer feedback, product supply strategy and industry trends into account and compiling and reviewing pre-, in- and post-season performance analysis Monitor and make recommendations/improvements on our buying decisions against plan to maximize Les Lunes sales, gross margin and inventory turn, to contribute to an optimal supply management. To ensure Les Lunes remains competitive whilst optimizing margin and availability you will be working closely with Les Lunes operations and finance team
First experience as merchandise planner; familiarity with common software tools, processes as well as planning approaches and how to implement those. You love to work with numbers and figures, thinking strategically and being excited by the opportunity to shape Les Lunes and it's success. You take MS Office in your stride and consider yourself an expert in Excel. Confident in using forecasting and reporting tools and to use your experience of managing several end-to-end planning cycles to mitigate risk and capture opportunities. At the same time you are able to provide best planning estimations without historical data and under uncertainty. You are experienced in defining, aggregating and collecting required Data in order to enhance the planning quality. This role is high profile interfacing with several departments; as such excellent communication skills, as well as building common ground and effective working relationships within the organisation are key to drive results in your area. Experience in a dynamic growth environment is a plus You are a self-starter that is hands on and can build things from the ground up. You have excellent English skills, communicate clearly with varied stakeholders and possess solid negotiation skills.
